Pilbara Solar exist for two key reasons. They’re here to help businesses make positive, lasting change towards reducing their carbon footprint, and to create opportunities for project involvement and equity ownership by Aboriginal people.

Now entering the next phase in their evolution, Pilbara Solar needed a way to demonstrate their capabilities and showcase their past projects to continue to win new business. While their single landing page website sufficed up until this point, they knew they needed a fully-fledged online presence to support their continued business growth.

We designed a new Pilbara Solar website with an easy-to-use CMS that communicates their vision and builds trust with their different audiences through a professional design, photography selection and strategic messaging.

Branding

Leveraging the black and orange brand colours, the site design reflects the Pilbara landscape, with a subtle use of lizard skin texture throughout. We also created a range of diagrams that are based on the design of solar panel grids to help convey key points and demonstrate their technical expertise.

Web

Pilbara Solar’s previous one-page website was difficult to manage and edit. Built in Gatsby with a WordPress front end and content management system (CMS), they can now easily modify and add content to their new site as needed.

We developed a project page for their team to push live when they have sufficient content, enabling them to independently manage their site moving forward. The project showcase is a crucial part of the site that will assist them in solidifying new business partnerships.

Mega Music are WA’s premier musical instrument shop, specialising in a comprehensive range of products, including guitars, drums, keyboards, music production equipment, live sound systems, and stage lighting. Established in 2001, Mega Music initially operated from a flagship store in Myaree, which expanded to a second outlet in Wangara and an online presence.
