Independent Timber Supplies (ITS) is a trusted provider of high-quality timber products to the building industry in Western Australia. As a locally-owned and operated company, ITS has accumulated over three decades of experience in designing, manufacturing, and supplying structural timber products that support the growth of the region.
ITS recognised that their website was not keeping up with the rapid growth of their business. Their site was outdated, difficult to navigate, and failed to display their entire range of products and services.
ITS engaged Distl to design and develop a new website that would be more visually appealing, user-friendly, and accurately represent ITS’s offerings.
The power of a strong website vision
ITS expressed a strong desire for a ‘green’ and ‘sustainable’ look for their website. ITS shared their admiration for the James Hardie website, a prominent supplier of theirs.
By drawing inspiration from the James Hardie website, the Distl development team was able to create a website with a cohesive visual style that resonated with the ITS’ sustainable ethos.
Custom WordPress website
Our design and development team was thrilled to take on the task of creating a custom WordPress website for ITS. The previous website was outdated, offering our team a chance to showcase their creativity and bring a modern, vibrant look to the new website.
From the ground up, we built the website with a focus on utilizing WordPress’s flexibility and functionality to create a user-friendly platform. Our priority was to create a modern, responsive, and engaging website that effectively presented ITS’s products and services in a clear and concise manner.

In response to this, Cancer Council WA launched MyUV. The site provides reliable knowledge and tools for users to not only access local, real time UV levels Australia wide, but educate themselves on the appropriate response to take.

Mega Music are WA’s premier musical instrument shop, specialising in a comprehensive range of products, including guitars, drums, keyboards, music production equipment, live sound systems, and stage lighting. Established in 2001, Mega Music initially operated from a flagship store in Myaree, which expanded to a second outlet in Wangara and an online presence.
